Injection Moulding
IM Machine
An injection molding machine is the primary equipment used in the injection molding process, responsible for melting plastic, injecting it into a mold, and producing the desired part. The machine consists of several key components that work together to ensure efficient and precise molding.
- 9 computer controlled fully automatic machines
- Range: 15-180 Tons
- Machines from reputed companies like: Kawaguchi, MEIKI, Electronica & Goldcoin.
Industrial Oven
An industrial oven is a highly versatile piece of equipment used in various manufacturing processes, including the molding industry, to heat, bake, or cure materials. In the context of the molding process, industrial ovens play a crucial role in drying, curing, preheating, or annealing materials to ensure the quality and performance of the final product. The trays containing plastic granules are placed in the oven to heat them up and remove any trace of moisture.
Hopper Dryer
A Hopper Dryer is an essential auxiliary device used in the injection molding process to dry plastic resin before it is fed into the injection molding machine. Plastic granules (resins) tend to absorb moisture from the air, especially hygroscopic materials like nylon, polycarbonate, and PET. Mounted directly at the machine throat to eliminate the possibility of contamination or re-absorption of moisture when transporting from central drying location to machine hopper.
Cooling Tower
A cooling tower is a crucial piece of equipment in the injection molding process, particularly for temperature regulation during cooling. It helps to maintain an optimal environment by dissipating heat generated by the molding machines and the molds themselves. It is a central cooling system to produce cool water which is supplied to the Injection Moulding machines to cool the die to solidify the plastic into the desired shape.
Chiller
A chiller tower, often referred to as a cooling tower, plays a critical role in the injection molding process by controlling the temperature of both the mold and the plastic material. Effective temperature management is crucial for producing high-quality parts with consistent dimensions and surface finish. It is put to use whenever additional cooling is required.
- Improved Efficiency: Reduces cycle times and increases production rates.
- Quality Control: Enhances the quality and consistency of molded parts.
- Energy Savings: Proper temperature control can lead to more efficient energy use, especially when using water-cooled systems.
- Equipment Longevity: Helps prevent overheating of machinery, potentially extending the life of the injection molding machine and molds.
Mixers
In the context of the injection molding process, the mixer and mixer tower play important roles in handling and preparing raw materials before they are fed into the injection molding machine. These systems ensure that the plastic material (such as pellets or granules) is properly mixed and conditioned to maintain the quality and consistency of the molded parts. Used to properly mix the color with the plastic to get a uniform color for your product.
Printing
In order to further enhance your product's aesthetic appearance, we offer screen and pad printing services also. Screen printing and pad printing are two popular printing methods used to apply designs, logos, and text to molded parts and products. Both techniques have unique characteristics and applications, particularly in the context of injection molding and other manufacturing processes.
